About The Role
FHF is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join its remote-first engineering team. This role is ideal for a developer with strong experience in JavaScript frameworks such as React and an understanding of backend technologies. You’ll write production-level code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build impactful products that help reshape the auto finance industry. This is a full-time, remote role open to candidates anywhere in the U.S., offering a competitive base salary starting at $110,000 plus bonuses, based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient frontend code for high-impact applications
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to build new features
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues across web applications
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback
- Develop RESTful services using Spring Framework and ORM tools
- Work within Agile teams and contribute to a collaborative and innovative environment
- Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and languages
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks like React
- Proficiency with backend languages and RESTful service development
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL)
- Familiarity with AWS services and serverless functions (Lambda is a plus)
- Understanding of system design, DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, CircleCI), and containerization with Docker
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a distributed, remote work environment
