Position Summary:
- The Supply Chain Fresh team is responsible for providing technology solutions for the purpose of improving the freshness of produce, meat, and seafood from Farm to Fork.
- The React Developer is accountable for creating high quality deliverables compliant with established standards that meet business needs.
- This role provides analysis, design, and development tasks required to deliver critical business solutions.
- This posting is for development on a newer Web application run on a Windows desktop and Azure Cloud services platform.
- This application uses React JS for the UI, Java for the back-end services and Mongo DB for data.
- This application will be the source for produce, meat, and seafood quality specifications.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- 2+ years developing Websites/Web Applications
- 2+ years React JS experience
- 2+ years JavaScript experience (typescript experience a plus)
- 2+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and Git
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, GitHub SaaS.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Experience with building and optimizing web applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working with Restful services on cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure or AWS Cloud is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Tech Lead, UI Designer and Quality Engineers in an Agile environment to ensure code meets development standards and guidelines.
- Develop a high-quality codebase, participate design discussions, execute development against design, and navigate complex codebase.
- Draft and review design documents.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues.
- Perform peer code reviews.
- Provide support for applications, including involvement with the Support Center and the Infrastructure teams.
